Exception from the entry rules to the Czech Republic for persons entering the Czech Republic from Ukraine

Citizens of Ukraine, EU (incl. the Czech Republic) and persons transiting via the Czech Republic to their countries of citizenship or residence have neither to fill out the Passenger Locator Form nor to prove their vaccination or negative test result.

The Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic orders hereby, pursuant to Article I of the Measure,

1. that the ban on entering the territory of the Czech Republic as well as the obligation to fill out the Passenger Locator Form, to be able to provide a result of a SARS-CoV-2 virus presence test, a national vaccination certificate about a completed or performed vaccination or such a certificate about having survived a COVID-19 infection, to present those documents upon a border or residence check, and to undergo a RT-PCR test within the territory of the Czech Republic, shall not apply to

a) citizens of Ukraine entering the territory of the Czech Republic en route from Ukraine, where they were exposed to serious threats because of an international armed conflict immediately before entering the Czech Republic,

b) citizens of the Czech Republic or any other EU member state and their family members as well as holders of the residence permit of any EU member state entering the territory of the Czech Republic en route from Ukraine, where they were exposed to serious threats because of an international armed conflict immediately before entering the Czech Republic,

c) persons entering the territory of the Czech Republic en route from Ukraine, where they were exposed to serious threats because of an international armed conflict immediately before entering the Czech Republic, in order to transit via the Czech Republic to their country of citizenship or residence, these persons are obligated to leave the territory of the Czech Republic within 48 hours since they entered it,

2. that the Principality of Andorra, Iceland, the Principality of Liechtenstein, the Principality of Monaco, the Kingdom of Norway, the Republic of San Marino, the Swiss Confederation and the Vatican City State be considered for purposes of this Measure equal to EU member states.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Health orders hereby pursuant to Article II of the Measure,

that persons stated in Article I are obligated to prove that they meet the conditions set out in Article I, using in particular their passport, a proof of the means of transport used to enter the Czech Republic, a proof of their place of residence within the territory of Ukraine, their residence permit issued by another EU member state (when transiting) or by Ukraine when requested to do so by the police, the Ministry of Interior, the Public Health Service or their (coach or train) carrier.
