Applications for visas and temporary and permanent stays in the Czech Republic will be accepted only in the cases provided for in this measure

According to point I/13 (only in Czech), the Ministry of Health orders:

Embassies of the Czech Republic in third countries to accept only applications for visas and temporary and permanent stays, in the case of

a) all applications submitted in third countries which are on the list of countries or territories with a low risk of infection;

(b) all applications for short-stay visas from persons who, under this protection measure, hold a national certificate of vaccination or a national certificate of completed vaccination or who have contracted COVID-19 and the validity of the certificate is longer than the validity of the short-stay visa requested; the embassy may set priority dates for their submission,

(c) applications for long-term or permanent stays; the Embassy may set priority dates for their submission,

(d) applications for long-term visas,

(e) applications for short-stay visas 

i. for the purpose of seasonal employment or for the purpose of employment, if the foreigner will be employed in food production, health care or social services, or short-term visas for the purpose of employment, if they are submitted in Ukraine by citizens of Ukraine, provided that they do not exceed the maximum number of such applications established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in consultation with the Ministry of Health,

ii. for scientific, key, and highly skilled personnel, provided that the conditions specified in the Key and Scientific Personnel Program and the Highly Skilled Personnel Program, and critical infrastructure service personnel are met, 

iii. for the reasons set out in II.1 points d) to j), and in the case of a minor child who is traveling with a legal guardian or another person who holds a National Certificate of Vaccination or a National Certificate of Completed Vaccination, or a person who has contracted COVID-19 and the validity of the certificate is longer than the validity of the visa;

According to point I/14 (only in Czech)

Embassies of the Czech Republic in third countries and the Ministry of the Interior to suspend all proceedings on visa and residence applications submitted to embassies of the Czech Republic in third countries for countries whose measures implemented due to the COVID-19 disease pandemic do not allow the performance of operations;

According to point I/15 (only in Czech)

Embassies of the Czech Republic in third countries to mark the visa on the travel document only in the case of applications that can be accepted according to point I.13 or for which the procedure is not suspended according to point I.14;

According to point I/16 (only in Czech)

Third-country nationals who intend to enter the territory of the Czech Republic for the purpose of employment must, at the latest before the long-term visa or visa for the purpose of taking over the residence permit is issued, submit a current confirmation from the employer that he or she will employ the foreigner if more than 90 days have elapsed since the application for a long-term visa or long-term residence was submitted;

According to point I/17 (only in Czech)

Foreigners detained pursuant to Section 27 of Act No. 273/2008 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic, or pursuant to Act No. 326/1999 Coll., on the stay of foreigners in the territory of the Czech Republic and on the amendment of certain acts, as amended, to tolerate the collection of a biological sample in order to determine the presence of the COVID-19 disease and to provide medical personnel with the necessary assistance in carrying out this collection at the collection point of the health service provider or in the facility for the detention of foreigners;
