On 18 January 2021, the government presented an amendment to Act No. 461/2020 Coll., The Compensation Bonus Act in connection with the prohibition or restriction of business activities in connection with coronavirus.
The compensation bonus is newly intended also for individuals (self-employed persons, executives, etc.) who are in bankruptcy. Which is a fact that so far excluded them from claiming the bonus.
The bill must be approved by the Chamber of Deputies, the Senate and signed by the President. You can monitor the current state of the legislative process directly on the website of the Chamber of Deputies.
More information and the wording of the submitted documents can be found in the ODok application.
If the bill passes the legislative process, insolvent persons will be able to claim a Compensation Bonus.
