CURRENTLY (1st June): The government terminated the call on the 9th of May. Applications can still be submitted until 2nd June.
It is expected that the new program will replace the existing specific programs. In addition to these two compensations, the Antivirus wage compensation and the self-employed compensation bonus will continue.
The aid is intended for: companies whose business has been restricted due to governmental measures. The support is for companies regardless of the specific sector, a form of ownership or number of employees.
Maximum amount/support: Up to CZK 500 per day, and up to CZK 1 500 per day for applicants with less than 3 employees i.e. a maximum of 1,800,000 EUR per recipient for the given period. The expected amount of the whole program is CZK 6,8 billion.
Decisive period: From 11 January 2021 until 9 May 2021. For applicants of the COVID - Accommodation II program: 23 January 2021 until 31 March 2021 is considered to be the relevant period in order to avoid overlapping support.
Receipt of application: From 9 AM on 12 April 2021 until 4 PM on 2 June 2021. Applications are already being assessed, the funds are released once the European Commission will notify the program.
Method of submission: Through the information system accessible from the AIS MIT Portal. Pay attention! Before working on the portal, it is necessary to establish an active identity of a physical person (account), the so-called eIdentity. Applications can be submitted, modified and evaluated, but the release of grant funds will be possible only after the notification of the Program by the European Commission, which is still ongoing. All necessary confirmations and forms are prepared for the applicant in the information system.
COVID - 2021 works as an alternative to the COVID - Uncovered costs. Companies will be able to choose one of these two compensations. If you want to apply for COVID - Uncovered Costs after completing COVID - 2021, the proportional part paid to the applicant in the COVID - 2021 program (from 1 April 2021 to 9 May 2021) will reduce the basis for calculating the final amount of the subsidy in the following COVID - Uncovered costs. You can find more in the press release of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. (Czech only)
