COVID – Adventní trhy



CURRENTLY: On February 21st, 2022, the MIT announced the announcement of the Call.

Purpose/conditions for drawing

  • The support will be provided in the form of a subsidy in the de minimis regime,
  • support will be provided to the organizers of the canceled Advent markets and traders.

1. Support for traders

  • In case of 1 stand: 5 thous. CZK/day,
  • in case of 2 stands: 8 thous. CZK/day,
  • in case of 3 or more stands: 11 thous. CZK/day.

2. Support for organizers

The support will be provided on the basis of documented and demonstrably reimbursed costs incurred by the applicant for the organization of a demonstrably completely canceled Advent market, in the amount of a maximum of 80% of these wasted costs.

Whom is the support intended for?

The aid is intended to compensate businesses for the costs and operating losses caused by the obligation to close the Advent and Christmas markets on the basis of Government Resolution No. 1066 of November 25th, 2021.

The maximum amount of support

330 thousands CZK for traders and CZK 5 million for the market operators. The total allocation for the Call is CZK 450 million.

Receipt of application

From March 1st at 9 am to April 1st, 2022 until 4 p.m.

Decisive period

For Advent traders, this is the period from November 26th, 2021 to December 25th, 2021, and for the organizers of the canceled Advent markets, from January 1st, 2021 to December 31st, 2021.

Method of applying

Through the information system accessible from the AIS MIT Portal. Attention! Before starting work on the portal, it is necessary to establish an active identity of a natural person (account), the so-called Citizen's Identity (formerly eIdentity). Applications can be submitted, modified and evaluated, but the release of grant funds will be possible only after the notification of the Program by the European Commission, which is still ongoing. All necessary confirmations and forms are prepared for the applicant in the information system.
