COVID-BUS regular (linka) II

The support covers the critical period in spring 2020, from October 5th to December 31st, and is calculated to support applicants' ability to repay their liabilities incurred in the second half of 2020, which did not lead to the expected recovery of the transport market.

Purpose/conditions for drawing:

Make sure you meet the conditions for applying:

  • you are the holder of a "Road motor transport" concession, a type of "passenger road transport operated by vehicles intended for the transport of more than 9 persons, including the driver",
  • between March 12th and June 30th, you operated at least 1 bus on a public commercial passenger bus service,
  • between October 5th and December 31st, you operated at least 1 bus in a non-scheduled passenger bus service, which was duly reported for business to the relevant transport authority,
  • you hold a license or permit to operate public commercial regular bus services, including the approved timetable valid in the relevant period, according to which you were to operate public commercial regular bus services in the relevant period, at least for one connection once a week calculated on average for the relevant period,
  • in the 4th quarter of 2020, compared to the 4th quarter of 2019, revenues from non-scheduled bus transport fell by more than 50%,
  • you did not apply for COVID BUS support for non-scheduled (tour) services on the same buses in 2020. The inclusion of buses other than those supported under COVID BUS for non-scheduled services is not an obstacle to submitting an application,
  • you have no outstanding liabilities to the state or state funds (at the tax office, the district administration of social security and health insurance companies, the State Environmental Fund, the State Land Office and the Customs Administration),
  • in the 2nd quarter of 2020, compared to the 2nd quarter of 2019, revenues from public bus transport without a public service contract for which you have a license or permit decreased by more than 50%,
  • insolvency proceedings are not taking place on your property, or have not taken place in the last 3 years,
  • you have no outstanding liabilities to the state or state funds (at the tax office, the district administration of social security and health insurance companies, the State Environmental Fund, the State Land Office and the Customs Administration),
  • you were not in liquidation before October 5th, 2020.

The application for the subsidy must, among other things, provide proof that the bus was reported to the transport office for business in the required period in accordance with § 9 par. b) of Act No. 111/1994 Coll., on-road transport. Fulfillment of this obligation can be evidenced by an extract from the Register of Entrepreneurs in Road Transport at the relevant transport authority, or by a certificate issued by this transport authority. The confirmation issued by the transport authority must contain the identification of the applicant, the license plate of the bus, the date of inclusion, or disqualification of the bus and identification of the person who issued the certificate.

You are entitled to the subsidy even in a situation where you put the bus in the depository after December 1st, 2019 and at the same time checked out the bus with the transport office. These facts will also be recorded either in the Register of Entrepreneurs in Road Transport or at the relevant transport authority and an extract or confirmation can be issued.

Because the processing of applications for an extract from the Register of Road Transport Entrepreneurs or for confirmation that buses have been registered for business will take some time for transport authorities, it is possible to submit an application without this confirmation, provided that you provide this confirmation. However, in these cases, complete the application with information that you are waiting for the confirmation to be issued, which you will provide as follows. Otherwise, the MIT may invite you to submit it.

Maximum support amount: CZK 2,500,000, provided that, with regard to the CZK / EUR exchange rate on the date of the decision, the amount of EUR 100,000 per enterprise/group of enterprises may not exceed the unspent limit of the DR of the enterprise/group of enterprises.

Applicable period: October 5th, 2020 to December 31st, 2020.

Receipt of applications: from Thursday, June 24th, 2021. The call will be closed after 31 days from the date of receipt of applications, ie July 24th, 2021.

Method of applying: Applications can only be submitted electronically. The easiest way is through your data box, but if you don't have one, you can use one of the other methods.
