I was tested positive

Should you receive a SMS stating that you are tested positive, please notify your GP immediately. He/she will then decide about further treatment and may issue a sick note for you as well.

An isolation is not being ordered automatically anymore solely based on a confirmed COVID-19 infection. You might still get isolated, should this be necessary to protect public health, for instance if you are a caregiver working directly with your patients/clients and no other epidemic or operational measure is available.

In all cases please do stick to advices issued by your GP or other public health protection body as well as to your treatment process set out by them.

General hygiene rules aiming to reduce spread of any infectious disease:

  • Please stay rather at home and reduce any visits to your home, especially those involving high-risk population groups such as the elderly or persons with a chronic illness or impaired immunity
  • Please wash your hands frequently using soap and water. Being ill, please reduce handshakes and hugs when greeting one another, as well as avoid touching your face and eyes with unwashed hands.
  • Please cover your nose and mouth with your flexed elbow or a handkerchief when sneezing or coughing.
