Higher Vocational Schools

Rules and recommendations

Schools have now switched to summer holiday mode.

The rules for teaching in the upcoming school year 2021/2022 will be specified in the following weeks based on the epidemiological development.

Classes are not restricted if they take place.

The number of persons in the room during tests is limited to 20 persons, without having to fulfill any other conditions.

For examinations involving a large number of persons, one of the following conditions must be met:

  • negative PCR test, not older than 7 days,
  • a negative POC antigen test not older than 72 hours,
  • laboratory confirmation of having Covid-19 disease, not older than 180 days,
  • having 14 days after the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or 14 days after a single-dose vaccine.

Students can participate in practical classes.

Students no longer need to have proof of a negative test for Covid-19. But do not forget the obligation to wear a mask in common areas. Neither the student nor the teacher need to wear a mask during the lessons when the student is seated.

The reason is the current epidemiological situation and the high risk of infection. At school, a large number of pupils meet for a relatively long time, they are also in contact with teachers and at home with their parents. This is associated with the risk of transmitting the infection to many contacts.
