Antigen testing for employees

As of March 9, 2021, employees who self tested (or have been tested by a lay person) for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus are obliged to inform the employer immediately in the event of a positive result. Leave the workplace immediately and transfer to the place of their current residence. In addition, they have to inform the employer and the occupational health service provider, if the employer specifies.

If the employer did not specify, it is necessary to inform your GP. If the employee cannot notify the health service provider, he is obliged to contact another health service provider, or the public health protection authority competent according to the place of work to determine the next step.

You can find more information about testing on the website of the Ministry of Health or in the guide prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. (Only in Czech)
