Rules and recommendations

Foreigners who have been granted a relevant residence permit and are admitted to studies can travel to the Czech Republic.

Cross-border students and pupils who cross the border into the Czech Republic at least once a week are not obliged to register electronically, test or quarantine.

Students from all countries can apply for long-term visas and long-term stays in order to study at a university in the Czech Republic and can come to the Czech Republic if all conditions are met.

A student arriving at this extraordinary time should check all extraordinary measures concerning accommodation/dormitories and the functioning of the university.

A school that has accepted a foreigner for educational purposes is obliged to provide him accommodation for the entire period of stay in the Czech Republic, health care for the entire period of stay, and its payment and return to the country of origin in case of loss of purpose.
