The eRouška app is being used to monitor the population

Hoax: Different variations of the statement: “eRouška is being used to watch people.”

Explanation: The eRouška app does not collect and save GPS data, but the Android operating system does include some Bluetooth LE (low energy) services that eRouška needs to function within location services- specifically Google Play Services. This is why the user needs to agree to the app having access to certain location data. This is not necessary for users with the iOS operating system. For the app to work, you only need to turn on Bluetooth( for both iOS and Android).
