Currently, no general rules for visiting patients in hospitals, social care facilities, spas etc. apply.

However, particular facilities may introduce their own restrictions, e.g. order wearing respirators and/or COVID-19 test result checks upon entering the facility or restrict the visiting hours. Please remember that people treated in such facilities are at higher risk of a severe COVID-19 course and that the disease may spread more rapidly there. The restrictions imposed by the facilities protect these people, you, as well as the personnel of the facility.
