Infected member of the household

If possible, designate a separate room for an infected member of the household. If you cannot designate a separate room, then it is important the beds in the room are at least one meter apart and the place is regularly ventilated.

The infected person must follow isolation rules, you must quarantine.

To minimise the risk of transmitting the infection to other members of the household, the infected person is advised to move around the common areas of the house in a face mask. The infected person should always go to the bathroom as the last one and should use his/her own towel. Try to disinfect objects which are touched frequently such as TV remote or door handles. The use of waste is also important. Used face masks, respirators or disposable gloves must be placed in a special bag and separated from the rest of your waste. Detailed instructions can be found on the website of the Ministry of Environment.
