Thanks to the general pardon of the Minister of Finance, the deadline for submission of the tax return has been postponed. Remission of interest on arrears and fines for late tax returns is valid for all taxpayers. Paper filing of tax return is due on the 3rd of May 2021, electronic fulfilment is due on the 1st of June 2021. An online form can be submitted via www.mojedane.cz. Please use filling offices, post offices and boxes in front of revenue authorities.
Together with the tax return deadline, also revenues and expenses report of freelancers (OSVČ) has been postponed. It is necessary to submit this report within one month from the date of the tax return deadline. Reports can be without a sanction submitted exceptionally by the 30th of June 2021. Please follow instructions on how to submit the report on the websites of The Czech Social Security Administration. With respect to the current epidemiological situation, we recommend giving a priority to online submission via online form.
On the 6th of April 2021, the President of the Czech Republic undersigned the law changing the deadline for submission of the report for health insurance related to the year 2020. Thus, the deadline for submitting such a report (applies to freelancers – OSVČ in Czech) has been extended till the 2nd of August 2021. Eventual additional payment must be paid by the 10th of August 2021.
