Protection from the virus

This Life Situation is archived. The text below may not be up to date.

Recommendation

Two fundamental components - minimizing of social contacts and adhering to the "3Z" rule (i.e. sanitizing your hands, wearing a nose-and-mouth-covering personal protection equipment article, social distancing) build together a simple and very effective way to protect yourself from a possible COVID-19 infection.

If possible, please put on rather a respirator than a mask, as the protection offered by the former is more effective not only for you but also for people around you.

Do not go to places with a higher concentration of people unless it is necessary. There are volunteer groups that can bring your groceries right to your home. Please have your respirator (or, at least, your surgical mask) put on while in (personal) contact with the volunteers.

However, the most effective protective measure is vaccination. Therefore, please register yourself to the vaccination slot booking system as soon as (for your age group) possible. For more information please see the Registration for Vaccination section.
