Rules and recommendations
The rules for crossing borders into neighbouring countries can be found in the Covid-19 guide, where the conditions for entering a particular country (e.g. quarantine, test, registration) are also clearly listed.
Before the trip, also check the conditions for returning to the Czech Republic from abroad on the Ministry of the Interior website.
Controls on the borders:
Slovak police are carrying out random checks at the border with Slovakia. For more entry information, please visit the website of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bratislava (only in Czech).
In Austria, random checks may be carried out both at the border and in the Austrian interior. Border crossings are open. More entry information can be found on the website (only in Czech or German) of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Vienna.
Random checks may take place in Germany. For more entry information, please visit the website (only in Czech or German) of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Berlin.
