Comirnaty's new adapted vaccine Omicron XBB.1.5. is already available in the Czech Republic in variants for people over 12 years and for children (5-11 years), the variant for children from 6 months to 4 years will be available in the coming weeks.
Vaccination on the territory of the Czech Republic is allowed only with fully registered vaccines that have passed the European Medicines Agency (EMA) approval and have been approved by the European Commission for use within the EU.
The following vaccines are currently available in the Czech Republic:

The dosage varies according to the previous history of COVID-19 in a particular infant or child. Infants and children aged 6 months to 4 years who do not have a history of basic vaccination against COVID-19 or previous infection with SARS-CoV-2 are given the basic vaccine as a 3-dose booster. It is recommended that the second dose be given 3 weeks after the first dose, followed by the third dose no earlier than 8 weeks after the second dose. If a child reaches 5 years of age between doses of the basic vaccination, he or she should complete the series with the same 3-microgram dose. Infants and children 6 months to 4 years old with a history of basic vaccination against COVID-19 disease or previous infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus are given ONE DOSE as a basic vaccination. The next dose may be given no earlier than 3 months after the last dose of covid-19 vaccine. |
